Thanks for visiting and I hope I can be helpful with your quilting needs. I’ve been quilting for more than 25 years. I’ve been fortunate to receive many awards for my work.
I offer free-hand longarm quilting to clients. This includes simple allover designs, detailed quilting, and heirloom quilting, all explained on my Quilting Services page.
In my own work, I find joy in creating pictorial art quilts. I combine my own techniques for painting with ink on cotton to create my designs. Thread is an important part of my quilts and adds the dimension and texture that is needed to bring the images to life.
Another specialty is the strata quilting techniques developed by myself and my sister Mary. Together we are Fourth and Sixth Designs and we’re sometimes called the Strata Girls, thanks to our book StrataVarious Quilts and our workshops and lectures. We also have many patterns and notions available for purchase.
